What's your Lunar New Year animal?

The zodiac system in Japan comes from an ancient Chinese calendar. The Kanji 午 (not 牛) marks a specific position in the 12-year cycle and only later became associated with the animal "horse." So 午 is the zodiac symbol, while 馬 is the everyday kanji meaning "horse." -Yuko Sensei via Instagram
